National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) Project developed by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP), under the aegis of the MoE, Govt. of India. It is a single-window platform providing learning resources that make e-Learning and education accessible to all, bringing digital repositories to users of all demographics from India and the world. 19th June 2018 marked a milestone in the history of education in India with the formal launch of the National Digital Library of India by the Hon’ble Minister of HRD, Prakash Javadekar. NDLI is operating with a mission to create a 24X7-enabled integrated ubiquitous digital knowledge source for the Nation – catering to immersive e-Learning for all learners, at all levels, in all areas.
